They've got a red double decker bus from England... and they're not afraid to use it. When you see it, it strikes you immediately that it's certainly a bit out of place. A huge, bright red, double decker bus dropped on the wrong continent direct from England. And upon closer inspection, you'll see it's been retrofitted. It's not carrying seats and people. Instead, it has clothing and other cool items to buy... a mobile thrift store! And oh yeah, it's carrying hope... hope for orphans... with all the proceeds benefiting them.
The Red Bus Project will visit 25 college campuses beginning March 12 and running through mid-April. Part of the Red Bus stop at each college is an evening concert by the band Caleb (featuring Steven Curtis Chapman's sons Caleb and Will Franklin) as well. And you don't have to be a student to donate clothes, shop for clothes, or enjoy the Caleb show... so come join em!
